(29347) Natta is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 5 March 1995 by the Italian astronomer Vincenzo Silvano Casulli on Osservatorio Guidonia ( IAU code 596) in the city of Guidonia Montecelio in the province of Rome was discovered.
The asteroid was named after the Italian chemist Giulio Natta (1903–1979), who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry together with Karl Ziegler in 1963 .
