(3019) Kulin is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on January 7, 1940 by the Hungarian astronomer György Kulin at the Konkoly Observatory ( IAU code 053) in Budapest .
The asteroid is a member of the Koronis family, a group of asteroids named after (158) Koronis .
(3019) Kulin was named after its discoverer.
