(3704) Gaoshiqi is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 20 December 1981 from Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing was discovered.
The asteroid was named after Gao Shi-Qi (1905–1988), who was a major factor in popularizing science in the People's Republic of China.
