(4165) Didkovskij is a main belt asteroid which was discovered on April 1, 1973 by Nikolai Stepanowitsch Tschernych from the Crimean Observatory .
The asteroid was named after the astrophysicist and Deputy Director of the Crimean Observatory, Leonid Vladimirovich Didkovskij .
