(4307) Cherepashchuck is a main belt asteroid discovered on October 26, 1976 by Tamara Mikhailovna Smirnova from the Crimean Observatory .
The asteroid was named after the Soviet astrophysicist Anatolij Mikhajlovich Cherepashchuk .
