(4495) Dassanowsky is a main belt asteroid discovered on November 6, 1988 by Japanese astronomers Masaru Arai and Hiroshi Mori from the Yorii Observatory .

The asteroid was named on November 6, 2014 after the Austrian singer, pianist and film producer Elfi von Dassanowsky (1924–2007).
