(5008) Miyazawakenji is an asteroid of the main belt , on 20 February 1991 by Japanese astronomers Atsushi Sugie on Dainik Observatory ( IAU code was discovered 402).
The asteroid was named after the Japanese poet Kenji Miyazawa named (1896-1933), who as a member of Kokuchūkai with his poems the teaching of Mahayana - Buddhism sought draw to ordinary people.
