(5379) Abehiroshi is an asteroid of the main belt , the April 16, 1991 by Japanese astronomers Satoru Ōtomo and Osamu Muramatsu in Kiyosato was discovered.

It was named in honor of Hiroshi Abe , a Japanese amateur astronomer who has worked with the Yatsuka Observatory since 1993 .
