(7491) Linzerag is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on September 23, 1995 at the Osservatorio San Vittore in Bologna . On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Linz Astronomical Association , the asteroid was named "Linzerag" in 1997. The number of the asteroids (7491) corresponds to the founding year of the Linz Astronomical Association (1947), written backwards.
