(9389) Condillac is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 9 March 1994 by the Belgian astronomer Eric Walter Elst at the Observatoire de Calern ( IAU code 010) north of Grasse was discovered.

The asteroid was named after the French clergyman ( Abbé von Muréaux ), philosopher and logician of the Enlightenment Étienne Bonnot de Condillac (1714–1780), who developed a sensualistic epistemology based on the ideas of John Locke and inspired Denis Diderot with his Traité des sensations .
