(958) Asplinda is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on September 28, 1921 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at the Heidelberg-Königstuhl State Observatory at the University of Heidelberg .
The asteroid is named after the Swedish astronomer Bror Ansgar Asplind .
