(995) Sternberga is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on June 8, 1923 by the Russian astronomer Sergei Ivanovich Belyawski at the Crimean Observatory in Simejis .
The asteroid was named after the Russian astronomer Pavel Sternberg .
