Élodie Vanessa Embony (born October 22, 1987 ) is a Malagasy sprinter .

Athletic career

Élodie Embony gained her first international experience in 2011 at the Africa Games in Maputo , where she was eliminated in the first round of the 200-meter run with 25.94 s. 2014, it peaked at the Africa Championships in Marrakech in the 100-meter race the semifinals, where she was eliminated with 12.32 s. The following year she took part again in the African Games in Brazzaville and was eliminated there over 100 and 200 m with 11.94 s and 24.37 s respectively in the semi-finals. In 2016, she took part in the 60-meter run at the World Indoor Championships in Portland , where she was eliminated in the preliminary round with 7.65 s. At her third Africa Games in Rabat in 2019 , she was eliminated in the first round over 200 m with 24.30 s and finished fifth in the Malagasy 4 x 100 meter relay in 46.02 s.
