Oscar Rivas (* 6. June 1987 in Valle del Cauca , Colombia ) is a Colombian boxer in the heavyweight division .

Amateur career

Rivas took part in the 2008 Summer Olympics in the Chinese capital Beijing . There he defeated the Bulgarian Kubrat Pulew 11: 5 on points and had to admit defeat to Roberto Cammarelle 5: 9 on points in the quarterfinals .

In Rio de Janeiro in 2007 at the Pan American Games Rivas won the silver medal .

Professional career
