Wasteland - So that nobody notices it is a documentary by the director Anne Kodura . He describes the life of three children who live in a home for asylum seekers in Möhlau near Halle (Saale) , mostly from the children's perspective, which is not commented on. The film was shown for the first time in February 2013 in the competition for the Transparent Bear at the Berlinale .

The black-and-white film depicts the lives of the three children Aya, Muhammad and Mustafa during the summer vacation 2011. The Möhlau asylum home was closed in January 2013.
