The Ölbaumblättrige winch ( Convolvulus oleifolius ) is a plant type from the family of wind plants (Convolvulaceae).
description
The olive-leaved bindweed is a perennial, herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 20 to 40 centimeters. Like Convolvulus lineatus , the species is silky- haired, but has neither widened leaf bases nor narrower leaves . The flowers are arranged individually or in groups of 2 to 12 on upright stems. The crown is pink, 17 to 20 millimeters long and only slightly longer than the corresponding leaf. The calyx is hairy protruding.
The flowering period extends from March to June.
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 30.
Occurrence
The olive-leaved winds are found in Libya, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Cyprus, Turkey and on the islands of the eastern Aegean in garigues , crevices and cultivated land.
