Ömböly is a Hungarian community in the county Nyírbátor in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County .
Geographical location
Ömböly is about 20 kilometers southeast of the town of Nyírbátor and 500 meters from the border with Romania . The neighboring municipality is Nyírbéltek . The Romanian community of Horea is one kilometer across the border .
