Ömer Can Sokullu (born August 14, 1988 in Bolu ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Ömer Can Sokullu started club football in the youth of Balkan Yeşilbağlarspor . From here he moved in 2003 to the youth of the then third division Pendikspor . In 2006 he received a professional contract and was taken directly into the professional team. In the professional team, he also made the leap into the regular formation.

After five years at Pendikspor, he moved to the Süper Lig club Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor . At the end of the 2021/13 season he was relegated to the TFF 1st Lig with the club . In the 2nd league he reached the championship with his team and thus the direct promotion to the Süper Lig. After the promotion he finished with his club, which was renamed in Istanbul Başakşehir in the summer of 2014 , the first division season 2014/15 surprisingly as fourth and qualified for the UEFA Europa League .

For the 2015/16 season he was loaned to the second division club Karşıyaka SK . For the 2016/17 season he moved to the second division Ümraniyespor and after one season to the third division Kastamonuspor in 1966 .

National team

Sokullu played once for the Turkish U-17 and seven times for the U-19 national youth team .
