Ümit Kurt (born May 2, 1991 in Osmaniye ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

society

Kurt started club football in the youth Osmaniye Akdenizspor and in 2008 moved to the youth of MKE Ankaragücü . In the summer of 2010 he signed a professional contract but played almost exclusively for the reserve team for one season. He made his debut as a professional player on the last day of the match against Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor .

In the 2011/12 season Kurt was then regularly used for the professional team, but he had to accept relegation to the second division with Ankaragücü. For the second half of the 2012/13 season he moved back to the Süper Lig to Sivasspor . Here he established himself as a regular player and even became a Turkish national player in the 2014/15 season. At the end of 2015, he fell out with his head coach Sergen Yalçın and was therefore suspended from the squad.

In spring 2016 he moved to Çaykur Rizespor within the league . After Kurt left Rizespor in summer 2018, he moved to the second division to Boluspor .

National team

Kurt was nominated for the first time for the second guard of the Turkish national team , the Turkish A-2 national team, in October 2013 and made his debut in an encounter against the Estonian A2 selection.

After he had been able to convince with his club for a long time, he was nominated for the first time in his career in the squad of the Turkish national team by national coach Fatih Terim in October 2014 as part of two qualifying games of the EM2016 .

He made his international A debut on March 31, 2015 in a friendly against the Luxembourg national team .
