The Üsönggükuusch ( Kyrgyz Үзөңгүкууш , Чоң Үзөңгүкууш Chong Üsönggükuusch , Russian Узёнгю-Кууш Usjongju-Kuusch , Chinese Qiongwusankushi ) is a left tributary of the Toshkan River ( Kakschaal ) in Kyrgyzstan and in the People's Republic of China .
The Üsönggükuusch rises in Kyrgyzstan on the northern slope of the western Kokshaaltoo . The Üsönggükuusch initially flows along the northern flank of the mountain range in an easterly direction. After about 50 km it reaches the Chinese border and forms the state border for another 20 km. The Üsönggükuusch then turns south and breaks through the Kokschaaltoo mountain range. The Üsönggükuusch flows through Akqi County, located in the Kyrgyz Autonomous District of Kizilsu , in a southerly direction, then in a south-easterly direction and finally again in a southerly direction. The river reaches the low of the Toxkan and flows east of the village Akqi into the Toxkan. The Üsönggükuusch has a length of 116 km. It drains an area of 2880 km². The mean discharge is 25.9 m³ / s.
