The steam locomotives of the series kkStB 262 were freight train - tank locomotives of the Imperial Austrian State Railways (kkStB), originally from the Austrian Northwest Railway (ÖNWB) for the local railway Melnik-Mscheno were procured.

history

In 1897 two triple-coupled tank locomotives were delivered to the local railway Melnik – Mscheno from the locomotive factory Krauss / Linz . In 1903 the Bohemian-Moravian Machine Works built another locomotive, which was, however, heavier than its predecessors. They were given the numbers 1M to 3M and the names MĚLNÍK , MŠENO and LABE .

At the kkStB they were classified as row  262 .

After the First World War they came to the ČSD . The three machines there formed the 311.4 series  and were taken out of service by the ČSD by 1937 .
