Čajetina ( Serbian - Cyrillic Чајетина ) is a city in western Serbia in the Okrug Zlatibor with 3151 inhabitants (2002).

Čajetina is also the administrative seat of the municipality of the same name, which occupies most of the Zlatibor Mountains and has 15,628 inhabitants (2002) on 647 km² (24.2 / km²).

It is surrounded by Užice in the north, Arilje in the east, Nova Varoš in the southeast and in the south by Priboj . In the west it borders on Bosnia-Herzegovina . Agriculture is practiced on 55.8% of the community area, 216 km², or one third, is forest.
