The Černý potok (German Schwarzbach ) is a left tributary of the Moravice in the Czech Republic.

course

The Černý potok rises on the southeast slope of the Železný vrch (859 m) in the Jeseníky Mountains . On its course leading east through the Lower Jeseníky , it flows through Podlesí and then turns to the southeast. Here the Bruntál – Malá Morávka railway follows its course. Via Nová Véska, Staré Město , Bruntál and Mezina , the Černý potok at Dlouhá Stráň reaches the Slezská Harta dam, where it flows into the Moravice .

Before the dam was built, the mouth of the Moravice was near the extinct village of Karlovec.
