Česká automobilová společnost pro obchod a montáž motorových vozidel , previously Bratři Rechzieglovi , was a Czechoslovak manufacturer of motorcycles and automobiles .

Company history

The Prague company started manufacturing motorcycles in 1920 and automobiles in 1921. The brand name was ČAS . Production ended around 1924.

The range offered models with two - cylinder boxer engines with 129 cc and 174 cc displacement . A single cylinder engine was also available later .

Automobiles

The four-wheeled automobiles were small cars with space for two people. One source states that single-cylinder two-stroke engines with 250 cm³ and 350 cm³ displacement provided the drive. Other sources mention an air-cooled two-cylinder boxer engine from Coventry-Victor with 689 cm³ displacement, which was mounted in the front of the vehicle, as well as two-cylinder engines from Walter in later models.
