Vilém Michl, Továrna motorů, motorových kol a velocipedů, strojírna a slévárna was a manufacturer of bicycles , motorcycles and automobiles from Austria-Hungary , later Czechoslovakia .
Company history
In 1883 or 1894, Vilém Michl founded the company in Slaný . Bicycle production began in 1894. In 1902 the production of motorcycles was added. Automobiles were built in 1906 or 1909 and 1930. The brand name was Orion . In 1907 130 workers were employed. Vilém Michl Junior managed the company in the 1930s . Production ended in 1937.

The vehicle from 1906 was a small car. The engine was mounted below the vehicle floor. A few dozen copies were made of this.
1930
These vehicles were tricycles with the single wheel at the back. The engine with 500 cm³ displacement and SV valve control was located in the rear. The body was created according to customer requirements. Only a few copies were sold.
motorcycles
Both two-stroke and four-stroke engines were used in the motorcycles . The first engines were single-cylinder engines with 2, 2.5 and 3 HP and two-cylinder engines with 7 HP. The export took place to Belgium , Germany , Italy , Russia , South Africa and Hungary .
