The Alba Automobilwerke AG (Italian Fabbrica di Automobili Alba SA ) was a manufacturer of automobiles from Austria-Hungary .

Company history

The company was founded in 1906 by wholesalers in Trieste . In 1906 or 1907 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Alba . In 1907 the company exhibited a vehicle at the Paris Motor Show . The demand was weak. In 1908, production ended after nine copies had been made. Alba filed for bankruptcy at the end of 1908. In 1909 the company went into liquidation .

One model was the 35/40 PS , also called 35/45 PS. In 1907 a vehicle with a built-in engine from Aster with a displacement of 6800 cm³ was created. Another source names two different four-cylinder models with 25 and 45 hp .
