The Erste Automobil-Gesellschaft für Österreich was a manufacturer of automobiles from Austria-Hungary .
Company history
The Vienna-based company started producing automobiles in 1899. It exhibited a vehicle at the First International Motor Show, which the Austrian Automobile Club held from May 31 to June 10, 1900 in the Vienna Prater . The brand name was Aesculap . Production ended in the same year.

The only model had a built-in engine of unknown origin. The specialty was that the engine had both air and water cooling . Other sources call water and rib cooling. The engine located in the rear had a power output of 3.5 hp . The maximum speed was given as 30 km / h and 35 km / h. The rear wheels were larger than the front. The face-to-face body shape offered space for 3 to 4 people sitting opposite each other. Motorwagen magazine , published by the Central European Motor Vehicle Association , praised the model in issue 4 of February 28, 1900.
