KAN

KAN was a manufacturer of automobiles from Austria-Hungary .

Company history

The company Královéhradecká továrna automobilů, Alois Nejedlý, Kukleny (German: Königgrätzer Automobilfabrik Nejedly) from Alois Nejedlý from Hradec Králové began producing automobiles in 1911. Production ended in 1914. A total of around 400 vehicles were built.

At first there was the single-cylinder model A with 731 cm³ displacement and 7 hp in the Torpedo body shape . In 1912 the two-cylinder model S with 1206 cc and 11 hp was added. From 1913 the four-cylinder model LC with 1330 cm³ displacement and 20 to 22 hp supplemented the range.
