J. Valeš was a Czechoslovakian manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Jaroslav Valeš founded the company in Prague - Kobylisy in 1928 for the production of automobiles. The brand name was Vaja . Production ended in 1929. Other sources name 1929 or 1929 to 1930 as the construction period. A total of 30 to 40 vehicles were built.

The company manufactured cycle cars and small cars.
In the smaller model, an air-cooled two-cylinder engine from Itar with 746 cm³ displacement and 12 HP power provided the drive. The empty weight was 340 kg. The maximum speed was given as 60 km / h.
The larger model was more successful. Here a V2 engine from JAP with a displacement of 996 cm³ drove the vehicle. This model cost from 18,000 Czechoslovak crowns . The empty weight was 360 kg. The maximum speed was given as 76 km / h. On offer were two to three-seater roadsters and a two-door, three-seater sedan . The body consisted of a wooden frame with synthetic leather covering . Only the fenders were made of steel .
