Česlovas Jokūbauskas

Česlovas Jokūbauskas (born November 23, 1955 in Varniai , Telšiai district ; † August 11, 2013 in Santariškės , Vilnius ) was a Lithuanian lawyer, judge in the Lietuvos Aukščiausiasis Teismas of the civil matters department .

biography

From 1970 to 1974 he graduated from the Kaunas Forest Technical College in Girionys and from 1978 to 1983 he graduated from the Law Faculty of Vilnius University .

From 1974 to 1978 he was a forest technician in Gegužinė in the Vilnius Forestry Department , from 1983 to 1984 a consultant in the Soviet Ministry of Justice in Lithuania , from 1984 to 1990 judge in the Lenin District Court in Vilnius, from 1990 in Lietuvos Aukščiausiasis Teismas . From 1995 to 2007 he headed the civil affairs department . After that he was a judge in the Supreme Court.

He was a co-author of the Commentary on the Lithuanian Civil Procedure Code .

He lived with Eglė Sakalauskaitė, daughter of General Forester Benjaminas Sakalauskas . The couple had a child.

He died in Santariškė's clinics after suffering a heart attack in the “ Forum Palace ” sports club .
