Đurđica Bjedov

Đurđica Bjedov (born April 5, 1947 in Split ) is a former Yugoslav swimmer with Croatian nationality.

At the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City , she was Olympic champion in the 100 m chest and won the silver medal in the 200 m chest. She is the only Yugoslav swimmer to ever become an Olympic swimming champion.

In 1987 she was inducted into the international swimming pool 's hall of fame .
