İsmet Yurtsü (born November 14, 1938 in Tokat , † March 23, 2015 in Istanbul ) was a Turkish football player .

Career

In the club

İsmet Yurtsü was in the youth of Fenerbahçe Istanbul from 1953 to 1957 . For the 1957/58 season, the midfielder was committed by Feriköy SK . From the season 1959/60 Yurtsü played with Feriköy in the first division. From then on he was one of the regular players in midfield. Yurtsü played for Feriköy SK in 156 league games until the 1964/65 season and scored 20 goals.

In the summer of 1965 he moved to Galatasaray Istanbul . With Galatasaray he won the Turkish Cup at the end of the 1964/65 season. His second year with Galatasaray was also his last for the yellow-reds . He returned to Feriköy SK and rose with his teammates after the 1967/68 season in the 2nd division.

Yurtsü ended his career with Sarıyer SK in the summer of 1972.

In the national team

İsmet Yurtsü played four times for Turkey from 1961 to 1963.
