The İyidere (also İyi Dere ; Turkish for "good brook") is a river in northeast Turkey . It rises in the Eastern Pontic Mountains and flows into the Black Sea .

The river flows in a predominantly north-northwest direction through the mountains of the İkizdere district of the Rize province . The D925 trunk road from İspir to the Black Sea follows the course of the river to the mouth. The İyidere passes the İkizdere District Administrative Center and reaches the Trabzon provincial border . In the lower reaches the provincial border between Trabzon in the west and Rize in the east runs along the river. The İyidere finally flows 4 km west of the coastal town of İyidere into the Black Sea. The İyidere has a length of 78.4 km. Its catchment area covers 1047.4 km².
