Due to the favorable location on the Linzer Steig , members of the Viennese imperial court also made guest appearances in his inn in addition to the Rosenbergers . From 1585 to 1596 he was the village judge in Shevetin. Šimon Lomnický was raised to the nobility by Emperor Rudolf II in 1594 for his satire The Arrow Cupidos ( Kupidova střela ) with the title of Budeč and appointed court poet. In 1618 he lost his property in a fire. In the following year, Shevetin was burned down by the imperial troops. He went to Prague and looked for a new livelihood with old friends, thereby joining the Protestants . After the Battle of White Mountain , he returned to the Catholic faith, he was sentenced to 100 strokes and expelled from the Prague Court.
