Spins is a farming village with 84 inhabitants (as of 2011) and belongs to the political municipality of Aarberg in the canton of Bern in Switzerland .
The Spinser ( Schpeisser ) also call their village Schpeiss . The place consists almost entirely of farmhouses and a few Stöckli .
Spins is located on a hill between Lyss and Aarberg. The old linden tree offers a view of Aarberg and the sugar factory there . The Eichpull tractor pulling team is based there.
