Życie Literackie ("Literary Life " ) was a Polish literary magazine that was published from 1951 to 1990 in Krakow .

The magazine was published every two weeks from 1951 to 1952 and then weekly until it was discontinued. Henryk Markiewicz was initially editor-in-chief until Władysław Machejek took over the post in 1952. In the early years of its publication from 1951 to 1956 it was the organ of the Cracow section of the Union of Polish Letters .

The following authors published in the magazine: Adam Augustyn , Stanisław Balbus , Józef Baran , Jan Błoński , Andrzej Brycht , Waldemar Dras , Michał Głowiński , Ewa Lipska , Wisława Szymborska and Marek Żukow-Karczewski .
