Humberto Carrillo (born October 20, 1995 in Monterrey , Mexico ) is a Mexican wrestler . He is currently under contract with the WWE and appears regularly on their show Raw .

Wrestling career

Early career (2012-2018)

On December 16, 2012, Carrillo began his professional wrestling career as an Último Ninja when he appeared in wrestling in Monterrey and teamed up with El Ninja Jr. Último Ninja then wrestled at other wrestling promotions in Mexico for the next six years, including Casanova Pro, Nueva Generacion Xtrema, Lucha Libre Del Norte, Lucha Libre Azteca, The Crash Lucha Libre, Chilanga Mask, Empresa Regiomontana de Lucha Libre and RIOT Wrestling Alliance , Promociones MDA and many more. During his career in Mexico, Último Ninja has won numerous championships including the PCLL Tag Team Championship, the LyC Tag Team Championship, the Crash Tag Team Championship and the WWA World Middleweight Championship.

World Wrestling Entertainment (since 2018)

Humberto Carrillo joined WWE on August 23, 2018 and signed his contract with other recruits on October 18, 2018. Carrillo previously starred against Jaxson Ryker in the September 19 NXT issue.

On December 5, 2018, he appeared again in an NXT edition, but he also lost that match. In the January 15, 2019 issue of 205 Live, Carrillo made his debut on the main roster when he accepted the open challenge Buddy Murphy . The following week Carrillo scored his first win over Gran Metalik. On August 27, 2019, Carrillo defeated Oney Lorcan and got a title chance against Drew Gulak for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship , but he could not win the title.

In October 2019, it was announced that Carrillo would be drafted after Raw as part of the 2019 draft. Carrillo made his debut on the October 21st episode where he lost to then-WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins . On the December 16 episode of Raw, Carrillo competed in a # 1 Contender's Gauntlet match for the WWE United States Championship , but was defeated by Andrade . He couldn't win another title chance either. On the March 2, 2020 episode of Raw, Humberto defeated Andrade and Angel Garza along with Rey Mysterio . This secured him another title match, which he also lost.
