Ⴈⴈ

The in ( ი ) is the ninth letter of the Georgian alphabet . The letter represents the sound [⁠ ɪ ⁠] and is indicated in German by the letter I transcribed.

Today only the ი is used in the Mchedruli alphabet . In the historical Chutsuri alphabet there was still the capital letter Ⴈ ; the lower case counterpart was the ⴈ .

It was assigned the numerical value 10.
