Ⴒⴒ

The tar ( ტ ) is the 19th letter of the Georgian alphabet . The letter represents the sound [ tʼ ] and is transcribed in German with the letter T.

Today only the ტ is used in the Mchedruli alphabet . In the historical Chutsuri alphabet there was still the capital letter Ⴒ ; the lower case counterpart was the ⴒ .

It was assigned the numerical value 300.
