Ⴞⴞ

The Xan ( ხ ) is the 31st letter of the Georgian alphabet . The letter represents the sound [⁠ x ⁠] and is indicated in German with the digraphs transcribed ch.

Today only the ხ is used in the Mchedruli alphabet . In the historical Chutsuri alphabet there was still the capital letter Ⴞ ; the lower case counterpart was the ⴞ .

It was assigned the numerical value 6000.

The Xan can be found in Unicode at the code points U + 10EE (Mchedruli) or U + 10BE (Chutsuri uppercase letter) and U + 2D1E (Chutsuri lowercase letter).
