The San ( ) is the 18th letter of the Georgian alphabet . The letter represents the sound [⁠ s ⁠] and is indicated in German by the letter S or (between two vowels ) with the digraphs transcribed ss.

Today only the ს is used in the Mchedruli alphabet . In the historical Chutsuri alphabet there was still the capital letter ; the lower case counterpart was the .

It was assigned the numerical value 200.
