(1017) Jacqueline is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on February 4, 1924 by the Russian astronomer Beniamin Pavlovich Schechowski in Algiers .

The asteroid is named after Jacqueline Zadoc-Kahn , a student of the discoverer.
