(1255) Shilova is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on July 8, 1932 by the Russian astronomer Grigori Nikolajewitsch Neuimin in Simejis .

The asteroid is named after the Russian astronomer and orbit calculator Mariya Wasilyewna Schilowa .
