(1371) Resi is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on August 31, 1935 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at the Heidelberg-Königstuhl State Observatory at the University of Heidelberg .
The asteroid is named after Mrs. Schaub's cousin , who was a friend of the discoverer.
