(1487) Boda is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 17 November 1938 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at Heidelberg State Observatory King chair of the University of Heidelberg was discovered.
The asteroid is named after the German astronomer Karl Boda (1889–1942).
