(153814) 2001 WN 5 is a near-Earth asteroid of the Apollo type , which was discovered on November 20, 2001 by the LONEOS project . It is classified as a Potentially Hazardous Asteroid (PHA). 2001 WN 5 will approach the earth on June 26th, 2028 up to about 250,000 km (about 0.65 lunar distances); this will be one of the next passages of an asteroid in the 21st century. Depending on the assumed type and albedo , an estimate of the diameter of the asteroid gives a value of 700 to 1500 meters.
