(2072) Kosmodemyanskaya is a small main belt - asteroid , which was discovered by Tamara Mikhailovna Smirnova on August 31, 1973 at the Crimean Observatory in Nautschnyj . It is named after Lyubov Timofejewna Kosmodemjanskaja , mother of the heroes of the Soviet Union Soja Anatoljewna Kosmodemjanskaja and Alexander Anatoljewitsch Kosmodemjansky .
