(22322) Bodensee is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on September 13, 1991 by the German astronomers Freimut Börngen and Lutz D. Schmadel at the Thuringian State Observatory Tautenburg ( IAU code 033).

The asteroid is named after Lake Constance in the foothills of the Alps , which lies on the border between Germany , Austria and Switzerland and is traversed by the Rhine .
