(24947) Hausdorff is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 7 July 1997 by the American Italo- astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory ( IAU code discovered 684) was.
The asteroid is named after the German-Jewish mathematician and writer Felix Hausdorff (1868–1942).
