(29463) Benjaminpeirce is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 2 October 1997 by the American Italo- astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory ( IAU code in 684) Arizona was discovered.
Named the asteroid was named after the American astronomer and mathematician Benjamin Peirce (1809-1880), by calculating the perturbations of the planet Uranus an important contribution to the discovery of the neighboring planet Neptune made in the year. 1846
